LWVFA Internship Program

  • Requirements:: Must be a Fairfax County Public High School rising junior or senior

  • Commitment Requirements: Interns must commit to:

    • Attending at least one weekly Zoom meeting

    • Willing to volunteer in LWV activities

    • Engaging in on-site community outreach

    • Maintaining consistent communication via email, text or Zoom

    • Available for summer training

  • Intern Responsibilities: Tasks may include:

    • Creating and posting social media content

    • Developing graphics and visual materials

    • Supporting community and high school education and awareness initiatives

    • Organizing and assisting with voter registration drives

    • Conducting interviews with candidates

    • Assisting with podcast and YouTube series production

    • Writing articles on relevant topics

  • Political Science Internship

    We also offer a second semester internship for students in FCPS Political Science Class that requires a second semester internship. Apply by January 7th
