Candidate Forum Policy
The League of Women Voters of the Fairfax Area invites all certified candidates competing for a specific office to participate in a Candidate Forum.
The opinions expressed in the Candidate Forums are those of the candidates. They do not purport to reflect the opinions or views of the League of Women Voters of the Fairfax Area or its members.
The LWVFA is a nonpartisan organization and does not endorse or oppose any party or candidate. Opposing candidates must agree to participate for a LWVFA Candidate Forum to be held. We do not hold “empty chair” forums. A moderator will ask the candidates questions. Audience members will have the opportunity to submit questions. If there is not time to ask all of the questions, the remainder will be given to the candidates after the forum.
