Come celebrate Women’s Equality Day Celebration at Turning Point Suffragist Memorial. The LWV-Fairfax Area is staffing a booth to provide information and register voters.  We would love for you to join us or stop by to say hello. 

The keynote speaker is Lieutenant Governor Ghazala Hashmi.  Others on the agenda include Gloria Blackwell (AAUW), Shirley Marshall (author), Nancy Tate (former LWVUS Executive Director) and a speaker from Delta Sigma Theta Sorority – Fairfax. There will also be tours of the memorial conducted by docents in period attire and displays.  LWV-VA is providing refreshments.
