High School Voter Registration

Help young people become active voters

Testimonials:

“Such a joy to help out with the high school registration. Looking forward to future gigs.” (a LWVFA volunteer)

"My students and I often talk about the importance of civic participation and have concluded that any definition of a successful life includes service to others.  The League's voter registration program provides young people the opportunity to improve their local communities, state, and nation by becoming educated voters and active participants in the electoral process. My colleagues and I look forward to working with you and members of the League again next year. " (a high school teacher)

To volunteer inside a high school for voter registration, in addition to the other voter registration requirements, you must be a current member of the League of Women Voters of the Fairfax Area. Wearing a mask is optional, but it is recommended inside school buildings (N95 or KN95 masks are best).

Classroom assistants and presenters review the registration applications carefully for accuracy and legibility. This ensures that the applications are successful. To view instructions about checking voter registration forms, click here.

This important work can be done only with your assistance.
