September Unit Meetings

Action - Making Your Voice Heard

LWVFA  Action/Advocacy committee chaired by Wendy Gage-Fox and Deb Wake compiled several priorities and the first half of the September “study” would  highlight these priorities.  The second part would be a primer on the many ways that League members can learn about the topics and “make their voices heard”.

The priorities:

#1 Redistricting

#2 Elections & Voting--Who else will advocate if not us?

#3 Behavioral Health

#4 Gun Violence Prevention--is bringing new members & leading to voter registration

#5 Transportation

Previous Months' Topics
