LWVFA IN THE WOMEN'S MARCH ON WASHINGTON
LWV Fairfax's participation in the Women's March is featured in the Vienna Connection. LWVFA's Executive Director, Beth Henson Tudan, and her son, Alex, appear on the front cover. Alex, age 17, is newly registered to vote as 17 year olds can register in Virginia as long as they will be 18 by the November General Election. Why did LWV march? To quote LWVUS President Chris Carson, "We march for voting rights. We march to reform money in politics. We march for health care. We march for the environment.
