LWVUS National Voter Registration Day

National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) is coming! More than 300 League of Women Voters affiliates nationwide have already signed on to hit the streets and help register voters as part of this year’s National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, September 27. To see what’s being planned, follow #voterregistrationday on social media.

For the sixth consecutive year, the League is thrilled to be part of this massive celebration of voting and democracy. With so much at stake for all Americans this election year, now is the critical time for each of us to ask our friends, neighbors, coworkers and family if their voter registration is up-to-date.

Millions of Americans miss out on the chance to vote in presidential elections because they do not know about voter registration deadlines in their state. Make sure the people in your life are not left behind! If people you know have questions about the voter registration or voting process, point them toward – the League’s year-round source for accurate and localized elections information.
