LWVFA-2010 CENSUS CALL TO ACTION

TO ALL LWVFA MEMBERS AND INTERESTED PUBLIC

Put this on your calendar for Thursday January 7th!

Grand opening of the Census Bureau Fairfax Office located at 9653 Fairfax Blvd. Fairfax, VA (Fairfax Circle shopping center). "Open House Ceremony" begins at 11 a.m. Keynote speaker: Chairman Sharon Bulova. All are cordially invited to attend!!!

Multi-Ethnic Press Conference Following Open House! This event will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway in conference rooms 9 & 10.

Chairman Sharon Bulova will speak on the impact and importance of the Census in Fairfax County and critical need to mobilize the community with outreach and education. Target audience is multi-ethnic staff from local and regional newspapers, television and radio stations. The Census Bureau needs your help with this event!

People interested in helping with the 2010 Census are encouraged to attend both events.
